Greater Kendall

Loosely situated west of US1 and extending as far out as the Everglades is the community known as Kendall. Its main roadway, Kendall Drive, is named after Henry John Boughton Kendall, a trustee of the Florida Land and Mortgage Company that purchased a vast area of Kendall in 1883.

Village of Pinecrest

Pinecrest is located in Miami-Dade County, bordered by Kendall Drive (SW 88 Street) on the north, SW 136 Street on the south, Red Road (SW 57 Avenue) on the east, and US1 (South Dixie Highway) on the west. This suburban village is adjacent to the neighborhoods of South Miami on the northeast, Coral Gables on the east, and Palmetto Bay on the south.

Village of Palmetto Bay

Directly south of Pinecrest is the neighborhood of Palmetto Bay. Its boundaries are SW 136 Street to the north, SW 184 Street to the south, Biscayne Bay on the east, and US1 on the west. Incorporated in 2002, Palmetto Bay became Miami-Dade’s 33rd municipality.

City of South Miami

The city of South Miami is in Miami-Dade County, with boundaries from SW 56 Street to the North, North South-Miami Drive to the South, Red Road to the east, and SW 87 Avenue to the west. Its irregular boundaries also include a portion from Sunset Drive (SW 72 Street) to North South-Miami Drive (SW 88 Street), and east to Biscayne Bay.

Cutler Bay

Cutler Bay is an incorporated town in Miami-Dade CountyFlorida established in 2005, with a current population of approximately 44,300. The borders were established as running from SW 184th Street (Eureka Dr) east of US 1 to the coast, and north of Black Point Marina, The town includes areas formerly known as Cutler Ridge
