Tekhne, LLC: Omar Khouri, Virginia Gosnell, Francisco Molina, Brian Peletz

Many people wonder about our name, so let’s clear that up first.  It is best explained in this quote:

“As technology is the continuation of evolution by other means, it shares the phenomenon of an exponentially quickening pace. The word is derived from the Greek tekhne, which means “craft” or “art,” and logia, which means “the study of.” Thus one interpretation of technology is the study of crafting, in which crafting refers to the shaping of resources for a practical purpose. I use the term resources rather than materials because technology extends to the shaping of nonmaterial resources such as information.” -Ray Kurzweil

Our goal stems from the idea that every entity, person or business, operates within their own “world”. As a professional in a particular field, you are exposed to so much that many others will never see or experience.  This becomes the “world” in which you operate.  Our business is to provide you with the technology solutions you need to help manage that world.  We see technology as something that can be shaped to our clients’ needs, and stay true to the view of working with technology as a craft.  We know how daunting it can be to find the right solution, with so many options out there today.  There is rarely a single solution to fill all needs.  At Tekhne, we provide the best and most cost effective solutions based on the needs, drawing from currently available products as well as creating products as required.  Our services range from simple SOHO setups to nationwide deployments and cover all aspects of information technology, including VoIP, forensics, and ISP services.
